Pa Monday Agwalogu from Osisioma Ngwa local government area of Abia state, passed away in May 2018 after a brief sickness. The man who is believed to be the oldest in his village before his death, is to be buried next week Thursday and Friday (November 16th and 17th) in his community. Nigerians have revealed their surprise following the obituary poster of a man who is said to have died at the age of 170 (1848 – 2018). The oldest person ever whose age has been verified is Jeanne Calment (1875–1997) of France, who died at the age of 122 years, 164 days. The Consumer Protection Council (CPC) has advised Nigerians to wash their beans and cook same very well before consumption. This is due to reports making the rounds that retailers now use snipers to preserve beans. The Council in a statement released by its Director General, Mr Babatunde Irukera, and made available to DAILY POST, advised consumers to also make sufficient enquiries before engaging in new purchases. An-18 year old boy, Samuel Akpobome Emobor, has confessed that he killed his mother and slept with her corpse for the purpose of money ritual. Samuel who hails from Oghara in Delta State committed the act at their rented apartment in Ologbo community in Ikpoba-Okha local government area. The Crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) hit a new low after Imo state Governor Rochas Okorocha said President Buhari is not in support of what Oshiomole is doing in the party.
