Recall that Alvez was the little boy diagnosed with "Ulcerated Infected Facial Haemangioma" which the actress came to his rescue last year.

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw says she and her friends have made arrangement to return the funds raised for Michael Alvez.
The actress in a post on Instagram today, May 4, 2017, asked Nigerians to stop paying into an account opened for the victim’s treatment, following disagreements with the family over Michael’s welfare.

This comes after the family's lawyer ordered an audit of the funds raised be presented to them.

They claim Kate Henshaw in partnership with Project Alert promised to fly Micheal abroad but failed.

She wrote on Instagram,

"I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to EVERYONE who gave. May God reward your labour of love. The good you have sown will return a hundred fold.

I thank you for trusting me and answering when I called on your help.

PLEASE STOP IMMEDIATE PAYMENT OF MONIES INTO THAT ACCOUNT AS WE WILL BE MAKING REFUNDS TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.

I will put out the modalities in my next video.

I WILL NOT HAVE MY NAME AND INTEGRITY SMEARED BY THE GREED OF ANYONE."

A letter addressed to the Lagos State Attorney General, dated February 21, 2017, stated that the family also felt betrayed by Project Alert after some government officials attempted to withdraw Michael from LUTH for onward transfer to a motherless baby’s home.

According to them, the family was disappointed that the two-year-old was not flown out for treatment as promised by the group.

A representative for the family said, “We are not demanding the money from them. We only asked them to give an account and once account is given, they can send the medical bill directly to the hospital in India where the boy will be taken to.

Also, there are discrepancies in the money being declared by the NGO.

The money was taken on behalf of Michael, so nobody has the right to sit on it. And yes, the mother is not of sound mind. Our client has been the one taking care of her (Mary’s) two children. Before the NGO took over, she has been contributing to the medical care of the baby."

Project Alert, however, denied that it promised to fly the child abroad for treatment.

Recall that Alvez was the little boy diagnosed with "Ulcerated Infected Facial Haemangioma" which the actress came to his rescue last year.

RADIO NIGERIA TAKES OVER RADIO BIAFRA

Three years after the Nigerian security apparatus coordinated by the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) Gen. Babagana Monguno successfully shut down all the broadcast frequencies of Radio Biafra operated by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) the federal government has deployed four of the shortwave bands for the use of Radio Nigeria, Hausa service, Kaduna, which went off air over 30 years ago. The radio station returned to the airwave two weeks ago after the NSA office released four broadcast frequencies harvested from IPOB” for the use of the federal government owned radio station, which now broadcasts in Hausa language 12 hours daily.
